Only one of a select few professional advisors who carries a multi-disciplinary licensing background comprised of Licensed Attorney, Registered Investment Advisor, Real Estate Broker, Tax Consultant, Employee Benefits Broker.
A professional advisor who over the years has discovered the fundamental need for holistic professional advice to take the place of one-dimensional, multi-professional advisor network. A family man who cares more about giving back and making a difference in people's lives. His favorite story is the one abou the starfish that get washed ashore on the beach.
A little girl is frantically combing the beach and picking up one starfish at a time and trowing it back into the ocean to save it from dying. A man sees her and walks up to her and says, "Little girl, what you are doing is admirable, but with all these starfish washing ashore, your effort is not going to make a difference." The little girl looks at the man, and while holding a starfish in her hand quickly turns toward the ocean and flings the starfish back into the sea. She then turns around and says to the man, "IT MADE A DIFFERENCE TO THAT ONE!"
I am Bill Massarweh and I thank you for taking time out of your busy day to visit my website. This is a work in progress, much like life itself is a work in progress. Please forward to me any comments, criticisms, or suggestions by clicking here.
I did not start out to become what I call An Holistic Advisor. Yet, over the years my clients would come in with their tax, real estate, people, and Financial and retirement planning issues. While it is highly unusual to have an attorney who is also licensed as an investment advisor, let alone a Real Estate Broker, I have found that over the years the end result is that the client receives the highest degree of accountability, service, and un-biased advice. Please allow me to explain further.
I have created Private Foundations as well as Trusts for clients over the years. As an estate attorney who has handled the estates of families, from inception to the grave, problem solving and solution development becomes a major focus in many estates. There is most of the time no one ready answer or solution to address needs. A holistic approach allows us to survey as many available options as there are to allow clients more insight into the best choice for them.
The fact of the matter is that for all of us, young and old alike, whatever size estate we have, our lives are in a constant state of "transition." Our assets are either growing or declining. The people in our lives are either in favor or in the dog house, or have prematurely left us. The issues surrounding our working years, retirement years, and inheritance goals are being influenced either gradually over time, or suddenly from specific events. The solution today may not necessarily be the right solution at some future point in time in your life. Therefore, flexibility becomes integral.
I am proud to say that I have provided my clients the best advice that any professional could possibly give, in part because the analysis of any problem, and the subsequent solution, is derived after an exhaustive consideration of the client's legal, tax, financial, charitable, and people issues, as they exist in conjunction with each other at that particular moment time in the client's life. These days, the issues seem to be changing more often, and with more gravity, given the nature of the world we live in today.
